Katie Price and Beyonce have shared photos in remembrance

It’s been 14 years since the horrific terrorist attacks on America’s World-Trade Centre, which took place on September 11, 2001.

To mark their respect, stars including Katie Price and Beyonce have shared photos and tweets in remembrance.

Katie Price opens up about THAT affair: ‘I’d be happy if Jane Pountney died in a car crash’

On Friday morning, Ms Price shared a photo of three fire fighters raising the US flag. Next to it she wrote:

Today we remember those who lost there lives 14 years ago, my heart still goes out to their family. You may be gone but will never be forgotten. #NeverForget911.’

Fans commented on Katie’s pic, with one follower writing, ‘A lovely post Kate.’

We couldn’t agree more.

Beyonce shared a photo on her Instagram account which showed the New York skyline behind the words ‘Never Forget’.

Other stars have also paid their respect.

Gossip Girl actress Chuck Bass posted a tweet saying: ‘I still cannot believe that this event even occurred. RIP to those who lost their lives. #NeverForget911.’

Katie Piper also shared a photo on her Instagram of the American flag above the words, ‘Never Forget 09.11.2011.’ Katie left the caption empty.

One of our favourite Gogglebox stars, Scarlett Moffatt, xx, tweeted about 9/11, writing: ‘God bless all who lost their lives, we will never forget 9/11 #NeverForget911.’

Former JLS star Aston Merrygold tweeted: ‘14 years and I’m sure we all still remember exactly where we were! RIP to all those who lost their lives #NeverForget911.’

One of America’s darkest days resulted in the death of 2,977 people. Two planes were flown into New York City’s World Trade Centre by terrorists, with a third plane being driven into the Pentagon in Washington and a fourth crash-landing onto a field in Pennslyvania.

On Friday, a one minute silence was held at the site of the World Trade Centre to pay tribute to the 9/11 victims.
