Ex-employee says troubled star tried several times to take her life
Anna Nicole Smith tried to kill herself twice after the death of her son last year, a former nanny has claimed in court documents.
Quethlie Alexis, who worked for Anna for three months, said the star spent 48 hours in a coma after drinking a bottle of what she believed to be a sleeping aid and also tried to drown herself in the swimming pool at her Bahamas mansion.
In the affidavit, filed over her dismissal in November, Ms Alexis, said when Anna Nicole woke from her ‘unrousable coma’ after drinking the liquid, she told her: ‘I wanted to die… I meant to kill myself.’
Shortly afterwards Anna – who is referred to by her real name of Vickie Marshall in the document – tried to drown herself, Ms Alexis claimed.
