Flippin' 'eck! Check out these impressive (and, umm, not so impressive) efforts from your favourite stars on Pancake Day 2016...

Pancake Day 2016

We’re currently covered in flour, have batter in our hair, and there’s a distinct burning smell coming from the kitchen, which can mean only one thing – it’s Pancake Day!

We’re not sure about you, but sadly our efforts at making a batch of pancakes to be proud of have once again failed. But lashings of chocolate spread and whipped cream hides a multitude of scorch marks, right!?

But over in Celeb World, the stars have been churning out some pretty amazing efforts that have put our own to shame.

Early this morning we had Little Mix flippin’ and gigling their way through Good Morning Britain‘s ‘Little Pancake Mix’ competition, which saw the girls – Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – go head to head in a pancake decorating challenge, with Perrie’s classy creation taking the crown.

Meanwhile, Stacey Solomon was up at the crack of dawn matching a round of pancakes for her kids with the singer sharing a video of her in full flip mode on Instagram.

The short clip showed her looking pretty pleased with her efforts, before making the error of asking her hungry brood: ‘Who wants the first one?’

Cue cries of ‘me, ME!’ and, we imagine, a short brawl – because the first pancake is ALWAYS worth fighting for.

But hang on just a second, Stace – isn’t that a WOK you’re using, instead of a pan? Does this mean she’s actually made wokcakes??

Elsewhere, stars including Fearne Cotton, Lucy Mecklenburgh and McFly’s Tom Fletcher had us salivating all over our smartphone with their impressive efforts, from healthy stacks to chocolate-smoothered goodness, whilst one of Myleene Klass’s pancakes ended up on the floor – whoops!
