Reformed girl group perform at comeback gig

Stars including Kate Thornton and ex-EastEnder Tamzin Outhwaite were out in force last night to support All Saints at their first gig since getting back together.

The girls, who announced plans to reform in January, performed tracks from their forthcoming album, Studio 1, and some old classics in the 3FrontRoom at Shepherds Bush Pavilion.

Shaznay Lewis, 31, Melanie Blatt, 31, and sisters Nicole and Natalie Appelton, now 31 and 33, did their thing in front of the 400 fans.

Cheering the girls on was Nicole’s partner, Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, dad to her son Gene, five, and Serge Pizzorno, guitarist of British rock group Kasabian (pictured with Liam).

All Saints had a public falling-out in 2001 after four years together. But last night’s gig put them back in the spotlight.

Will they be as well received as the boys from Take That? Can’t really see that happening…
