Nadia has been forced to deny she's the reason Eden quit the show

Their role on the show is meant to be to help singletons find love, but Celebs Go Dating agents Nadia Essex and Eden Blackman have got themselves caught up in some drama of their own.

With rumours circulating that an ongoing feud between the pair is the reason quirky Eden won’t be returning to our TV screens for the next series, Nadia took to social media to set the record straight.

She wrote on Twitter: ‘In response to further reports today that Eden left Celebs Go Dating because of a fall out with me, I want to set the record straight that his decision to leave the show was for his own reasons and was absolutely nothing to do with me.’

Nadia was then forced to deny that the pair were ‘romantically involved’ after a fan put forward the theory on Twitter.

‘Absolutely not,’ she replied.

The show was thrown into chaos back in February when Eden was accused of cheating on his long-term girlfriend with a contestant on the show, days before series four finished airing on E4.

It all unravelled when Eden, 50, and Nadia made an appearance on Loose Women, where he revealed he he’d been in a relationship for a year and a half. But, former Celebs Go Dating singleton Chanelle Sadie Paul claimed she was dating him the whole time.

Days later it emerged that Eden’s rumoured infidelity was the reason series five of the hit E4 show hadn’t been recommissioned. He denied these claims on Twitter, but did confirm he wouldn’t be returning to the show in a statement months later.

‘Today I informed the team that I won’t be returning to my role at Celebs Go Dating if and when the show comes back for series 5,‘ he tweeted.

‘I’m thankful to everyone at Lime Pictures and C4 for the opportunity, I’ve had a great time and following the best rated series to date, wish them nothing but more success for the show moving forwards. Thanks for all your support. Eden.’

So who will replace Eden? Our bets are on Tom…
