Actor denies threatening his wife
Charlie Sheen must appear in court over allegations he held a knife to his wife’s throat on Christmas Day, a judge has ruled.
The actor’s lawyers had asked that he be allowed to participate via phone at the hearing in Colorado on 8 February.
Charlie, 44, was arrested in Aspen on suspicion of assault, menacing and criminal mischief on 25 December.
He denies allegations he threatened his wife Brooke Mueller when she reportedly asked for a divorce.
Lawyers for the couple- who have nine-month-old twins Bob and Max – have since indicated they want to reconcile.
