Cheryl Cole insists she’s never been that ambitious and has no dreams about becoming a Hollywood star.

After finding fame in Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 with her Girls Aloud bandmates, and landing her job on The X Factor, the 26-year-old’s happy for Destiny to guide her life.

‘I haven’t got an ultimate goal,’ Cheryl tells Now.

‘I’m more than happy with… I’m shocked, almost, at what I’ve achieved so far.

‘That was unimaginable. It’s more than I could ever have hoped for or expected or wanted. Anything from now on is a bonus; it’s special.’

Cheryl isn’t keen on the idea of sipping cocktails by the side of a Beverly Hills swimming pool at all.

‘I’m not one of those people that has to take over the world,’ says Cheryl. ‘I don’t wanna be an actress, I don’t wanna make it in Hollywood. I’m not like that.

‘Everything that’s happened so far, even making the record, has been very organic and it’s come naturally.

‘I hope people enjoy the music. That’s the ultimate goal.’
