Girls Aloud star is getting ready for charity challenge

Cheryl Cole is finding preparation for her upcoming charity adventure a gruelling ordeal.

The Girls Aloud star and bandmate Kimberley Walsh, 27, are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro along with 8 other celebs for Comic Relief.

But the strict training regime is taking its toll on her tootsies.

‘I don’t know about anybody else but I’ve got blisters on every toe of both feet,’ she tells The Sun. ‘We are used to getting in good shape when we are on tour. The dancing really keeps us fit but this is totally different.

‘There’s no make-up – we’re giving up our luxuries.’

Cheryl, 25, has asked husband Ashley, 27, to help her train for the climb.

‘While most girls would dread the thought of getting bigger, Cheryl can’t wait to spoil herself with her favourite treats,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

‘But she’s really looking forward to it as she knows she needs to be fit as possible. She’s getting bigger so she can give it her all.’
