Rapper thinks Girls Aloud star will top the charts
The pair have been working together on a number of tracks for her debut record.
Will.i.am, who collaborated with Cheryl on hit single Heartbreaker, is confident they’ll have chart success.
‘We started off with a really mega tune and now the bar is set high,’ he tells The Sun.
‘Cheryl is a sweetheart. We did this one song and it was like “Wow!” I didn’t want to play it for anybody because they would have said, “Why don’t we do that song?”
‘It’s a big, big record. It’s a beautiful song and she sang it great.’
Cheryl’s Girls Aloud bandmates – Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh – are also taking time out to work on solo projects.
