Girls Aloud star to visit Compton for dance lessons

Cheryl Cole is to dance on some of the most dangerous streets in LA for new ITV show, Passions.

The Girls Aloud star was asked to pick the activity of her dreams for the upcoming series –and she chose to become a street dancer in the US.

But the lessons will be held in Compton – voted the most dangerous city in America – and friends of the young star fear for her safety.

‘Ashely is really worried,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror, ‘Compton is notorious for having a lot of crime and gang violence.’

But reports claim the 24-year-old can’t wait to cross the pond and is really excited about learning ‘krumping’ – a street dance famously used in Madonna’s music video Hung Up.
