Star talks about band in the past tense
Cheryl Cole worried Girls Aloud fans when she appeared to suggest she’s no longer a member.
The X Factor star referred to the band in the past tense when discussing her music on Danish TV.
The previous three tracks were with a girl group I was with for seven years,’ she said.
‘So to be number one solo was crazy, like the best feeling in the world.’
But a Girls Aloud spokesman insists Cheryl, 26, hasn’t quit.
Cheryl is still a member of Girls Aloud,’ he said.
‘She was just putting her solo number one into context for an audience that would not be aware of Girls Aloud.’
