But Jenny Bale says there was a 'family situation'

Batman star Christian Bale‘s mum says she did not call the police about an alleged assault by her son.

The Dark Knight actor, 34, is accused of attacking Jenny, 61, and Sharon, 40, at the Dorchester Hotel in London on Sunday night.

But Jenny Bale says she didn’t call officers to the scene of the reported incident.

‘Yes I was there and yes there was a family situation but the police are handling it and I cannot say any more at the moment,’ she tells the Daily Mail.

‘We didn’t call the police to the scene. I can’t say any more but we didn’t call the police.’

Christian was held for 4 hours at Belgravia police station yesterday before leaving in a silver Mercedes at 4.20pm.

His London-based law firm, Schillings, released a statement saying: ‘Christian Bale attended a London police station today on a voluntary basis.
