The singer doesn't think she has enough life experience to pen her memoirs
Adele has reportedly turned down a seven-figure sum to write her autobiography because she thinks she’s too young.
Several publishers were interested in the 24-year-old’s memoirs and one is believed to have met her management and made a tempting offer – but Adele wasn’t keen.
‘Adele‘s never been a really showy person so it was always going to take a lot to get her to write her life story anyway,’ says a source.
‘But even though she received a lucrative offer, her primary concern was that she doesn’t want to write a book about just 24 years.’
Adele is notoriously secretive about her private life and still hasn’t confirmed that her six-month-old son with partner Simon Konecki is called Angelo.
She’s rumoured to be getting hitched to charity boss Simon, 38, later this year, which will give her something extra to write about if she decides to put pen to paper in future.
‘She feels she’d rather wait until she has more life experience to write about,’ the insider tells the Daily Mirror.
‘She would never say never – but she has said not now.’
