The tennis player won't be getting married in the near future

Andy Murray insists he still has no plans to propose to girlfriend Kim Sears.

The tennis ace, 26, has been fending off questions about whether getting hitched is the next milestone he’s hoping to reach since winning the Wimbledon Men’s Final yesterday.

‘I haven’t thought about that yet,’ says Andy.

The couple hooked up in 2005 after meeting at the French Open, where Andy was playing and then-sixth form student Kim was supporting her tennis coach dad Nigel.

They split briefly in 2009 Рshortly after moving into a £5 million house in Oxshott, Surrey Рbut got back together six months later.

Andy‘s mum Judy has described Kim as the ‘best thing that ever happened’ to her son and he’s previously said that he ‘works better’ in a relationship.

But even if the Scots star does get down on one knee, it looks like he’ll choose to keep the big news quiet.

Andy told Holly Willoughby on This Morning today that he has no plans to speak about the special moment with reporters.

‘I only met you like ten minutes ago so I wouldn’t be telling you first,’ said Andy.
