The singer is furious with columnist Polly Hudson

Cheryl Cole has lashed out a tabloid columnist after her 30th birthday celebrations in Las Vegas last weekend were deemed ‘depressing’.

The singer was angry when reporter Polly Hudson mocked Instagram snaps of Chezza’s night with pals including Girls Aloud stars Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts.

Chezza rounded up her massive gang of friends i.e. mum, boyfriend, hairstylist and some – but not all – of the people she was put together with on a reality show,’ writes Polly in the Daily Mirror.

‘If Chezza was just a norm she’d be able to have real experiences, and she’d probably have some proper mates, too, instead of having to hang out with her mum and brother all the time.’

Polly also reckons that if Cheryl wasn’t a celebrity she’d have avoided the ‘public humiliation’ of ex Ashley Cole‘s infidelity and that she’d ‘have the child she’s always desperately wanted’.

But Cheryl is furious with Polly‘s piece – which ends with the line: ‘If Cheryl wasn’t famous she’d be much happier. Or, in prison.’

‘Meow.. Who exactly was my party depressing for? yourself? sitting behind your little computer watching Instagram.. aww!!’ Tweeted Cheryl.

‘I am actually dumbfounded reading your nasty bitter horrible incredibly inaccurate and misinformed article! Is this what you have been resorted to??! i feel bad for you.

‘You literally have NO correct detail other than the 4 or 5 people you were able to identify from the”Instagram” pictures! #bitterbilly #saucerofmilkforPolly.’
