The singer's underwear will go on sale next month
A pair of underpants worn by Elvis Presley during a gig in 1977 are to go up for auction in Stockport, Cheshire next month.
The light blue briefs haven’t been washed since the king of rock’n’roll wore them under one of his white jumpsuits on stage 35 years ago and are expected to sell for an incredible £10,000.
Elvis donned the pants shortly before his death at the age of 42.
A number of other items of Elvis memorabilia will also go under the hammer, including a piece of 16mm home movie footage taken by wife Priscilla.
This features the couple’s wedding, their daughter Lisa Marie as a child and a family Christmas in Graceland.
The singer’s personal bible – which he used for 20 years and annotated with handwritten notes and underlinings – will also be on offer.
