The Saturdays girls are big 1D fans

Frankie Sandford and Rochelle Humes thought One Direction were great on The X Factor last night.

The Saturdays singers, both 24, enjoyed seeing 1D perform their latest single Story Of My Life and think they’ve grown up a lot since they were contestants on the 2010 series.

‘I Loved that @onedirection such manly voices! … Granny tweet,’ Tweeted Frankie.

Rochelle wrote: ‘Zayn’s voice is dreamy!!’

Mum-of-one Rochelle was supposed to be in the audience yesterday to see husband Marvin sing with his band JLS but came down with norovirus so had to watch from home.

It’s likely that Frankie stayed in to look after her one-month-old son Parker.

Frankie was glad her favourite act Luke Friend – who she’s previously said is ‘cute with a raspy voice’ – was voted into next week’s show.

‘Lukes through. Good times!’ Tweeted Frankie.
