Harry's found out he has an ectopic heartbeat

Harry Judd has revealed that he’s suffering from a heart condition.

The McFly drummer, 27, was diagnosed with an ectopic heartbeat – also known as a wandering pacemaker – after undergoing tough training for this month’s London Marathon.

‘So I’ve acquired and ectopic heart beat through excessive exercise. It’s known as a Wandering Pacemaker commonly seen in athletes….,’ Tweets Harry.

‘….it takes causes symptoms or requires treatment. Still it’s really annoying!!!

‘It proves I’ve even pushing as hard as possible for the marathon + if u’ve been thinking of sponsoring me then surely that will pursuance u?’

Harry‘s condition means the rhythm of his heart has missing or extra beats, but is fairly common and doesn’t normally require treatment.

Some of his worried Twitter fans have warned him to rest – but it seems unlikely he’ll follow their advice as he’s set to take part in a 13-mile assault course two weeks after the London Marathon.

The star’s funds will go towards the Teenage Cancer Trust and the Eyes Light Appeal, which wife Izzy and her family set up after her brother Rupert was injured in a road accident in 1997.

‘It’s nothing to worry about but just means I have to chill out a bit :-/,’ Tweets Harry.

‘Athletes get it though… :-).’
