The One Direction singer isn't afraid to put his feelings into music
Harry Styles has revealed that he’s been penning tunes about his ex-girlfriends.
The singer, 19, helped create a few tracks for One Direction‘s new album Midnight Memories and some lyrics will touch on his past relationships.
‘When you’re writing songs, it’s impossible to not draw on personal experiences, whether it be, you know, travelling or girls or anything,’ says Harry.
‘You’re always gonna draw inspiration for things that you’re feeling, things that you’ve felt. It’s kind of impossible not to unless there’s an exact scenario that you’re trying to write a song for.’
Despite being one of the world’s biggest heartthrobs, he reckons he can tell when a girl genuinely fancies him or whether they’re just interested in his fame.
‘I think you just know,’ Harry tells E!
‘It’s one of them things where if you meet someone who likes you just because it’s you and not because, you know, you have stuff.’
