The singer makes sure the Directioner is okay

Harry Styles became a hero in New York this week when he aided an injured fan on the street.

Crowds of frenzied One Direction devotees had gathered to catch a glance of Harry, 19, when he popped to the city’s Ralph Lauren store.

But in the stampede, one teen fell to the floor and injured her leg.

Harry – who looked hot in a beige jacket and skinny jeans – witnessed the tumble and immediately went to help the distressed girl to her feet.

He waited for the Directioner to compose herself before posing for a sweet picture with her.

The singer and his 1D band mates had flown to the US to promote their third album Midnight Memories, which was released this week.

They’re now back in the UK – but it seems some of the lads are struggling to deal with being in a different time zone.

‘Jet lagged again! Woke up couldn’t find my phone, spent an hour dismantling sofas and beds looking for it!’ Tweeted Niall Horan this morning.
