The One Direction singer is now behind the wheel on his own

Harry Styles has had to fork out a massive £15,000 on car insurance after buying a second-hand Range Rover Sport from his stepdad.

The 18-year-old singer – who passed his driving test last month – will have had to pay a premium price because he’s a teenager full of testosterone.

Harry was told by his management that it was his decision if he wanted to buy an expensive motor – but he would have a tough job insuring it,’ says a source.

‘He’s a young man and wanted to spend his money on the car – so he ploughed on.’

Harry isn’t the only One Direction member who’s had trouble with their motor.

Last year, Louis Tomlinson, 20, treated himself to a Porsche only to discover he’d have to spend as much on insurance as he did on the vehicle.

‘[Harry] said if Louis did it, he could to,’ the source tells The Sun.

‘He still got a big surprise when the quotes started coming in. It was a big whack.’
