The 1D boys perform Little Things

Harry Styles had a brilliant time performing for the Queen with his One Direction band mates at the Royal Variety Performance last night.

The boys shook hands with the monarch after singing latest No 1 hit Little Things on the Royal Albert Hall stage.

‘Today, I met The Queen,’ Tweeted Harry, 18.

‘Amazing night.. Can’t believe it. Night!! .xx.’

Other performers yesterday evening included Robbie Williams, Britain’s Got Talent winners Ashleigh And Pudsey and Girls Aloud.

David Walliams – who hosted the show with Amanda Holden – took part in a hilarious skit with 1D by dressing up as a Directioner and asking them to marry him.

‘Great evening ! Met some legends! Happy to be invited,’ Tweeted Niall Horan, 19.
