The couple are celebrating
James Corden and his wife Julia Carey are expecting their second child together.
The couple’s spokesperson confirmed yesterday that their three-year-old son Max will soon have a little brother or sister to play with.
James, 35, has had a lot to celebrate over the past few days – his game show A League Of Their Own picked up the BAFTA for Comedy Entertainment Programme on Sunday.
He also received a Male Performance In A Comedy Programme nomination for The Wrong Mans, which he co-wrote.
James met former TV producer Julia in 2009 when they were introduced by actor Dominic Cooper and they married at Babington House, Somerset three years later.
The comic has previously joked about parenthood.
‘For a while it’s nothing but annoying and then slowly and surely in around three months when you get a smile you go: “Aww, actually you’re all right,”‘ James quipped on XFM.
‘Let’s be honest – I’m fed up of these guys who go: “Aww! The minute I held it in my arms, I just knew I’d jump in front of a bus for it.” No you didn’t. A parked bus maybe.’
