James denies that his saucy products are offensive

Kate Middleton‘s younger brother James has defended his adult-themed cakes business Nice Cakes.

He believes sending someone one of his products is a way of showing you care.

The rude humour on the company’s designs – which James describes as ‘a part of being British’ – includes saucy pictures and messages such as: ‘Scrummy boobies that make my hands happy’ and ‘Boobies that jiggle when you wiggle’.

‘The rudeness of the cake, even if they are very rude cakes, is a way of saying: “We are so close that I can send you this kind of cake in the full knowledge that you won’t be offended by it,”‘ says James, 25.

‘So actually, rather than intending to be rude, it’s a sign of affection instead.’

James has previously brushed off suggestions that his venture may reflect badly on big sister Kate, 30.

And the entrepreneur – who read the lesson at Kate‘s wedding to Prince William last year – doesn’t want to use his family connections to become successful.

‘I’ve won awards for my own efforts because I am young and good in my own right,’ said James earlier this year.

‘It’s not just because of my family that I’ve been getting attention. I want to be known for my own contribution, not for being a “relative of”. That’s boring.’
