The Team GB girls are relaxing after winning medals

Team GB‘s Jessica Ennis is planning to take some time out after winning gold in the Olympics heptathlon event over the weekend.

The athlete – who admits she slept with her gold medal on her pillow after her victory on Saturday night – can’t wait to indulge herself after months of tough training.

‘I’m definitely going to relax, eat lots of rubbish food, have a few glasses of wine and enjoy this moment for as long as possible,’ says Jess, 26.

Jessica isn’t the only Team GB competitor who’s celebrating getting onto the podium at the London 2012 Games.

Swimmer Rebecca Adlington, 23 – who bagged 2 bronze medals – partied with team mates Elizabeth Simmonds and Michael Jamieson as well as South African gold medallist Chad le Clos at London club Chinawhite over the weekend.

‘She was definitely having a good time,’ a clubber tells the Daily Mail.

‘Fair play to her, she has worked hard.’
