The model is warned that she got her timing wrong
Jodie Marsh has been blasted for posing with a gun on the same day as a US school shooting.
The glamour model, 35 – who’s currently in the States – uploaded a snap of herself holding the weapon and snarling on Instagram yesterday, alongside the caption: ‘Only in the USA……’
But some people didn’t think it was right for her to share the image when a 12-year-old boy had shot two classmates in Roswell, New Mexico that morning.
‘I really like some stuff you do, but timing all wrong with the school shooting today. #yourbetterthanthatjodie,’ Tweeted one.
Another commented: ‘I do hope your doing a show about 🔫 crime, otherwise the ‘posing’ with a gun is completely ill timed #RoswellShooting #BadForm.’
An 11-year-old boy who was shot in the face and the neck was still in critical condition last night, while a second victim was stable.
Despite the controversy, Jodie has defended her choice to keep the photo online.
‘I’m not saying buy a gun,’ Jodie tells the Daily Star.
‘It’s more damaging when celebrities glamorise guns.’
