Bruce has consulted a doctor on the op

Bruce Jenner is planning to go under the knife to flatten his Adam’s apple.

Kim Kardashian‘s stepfather, 64, spoke about getting chondrolaryngoplasty – or a tracheal shave – with a Beverly Hills surgeon yesterday.

The procedure is usually performed on patients in the initial stages of gender reassignment surgery but Bruce insists this isn’t the case for him.

‘I just never liked my trachea,’ Bruce tells TMZ.

It won’t be the first time that Bruce – who announced his split from Kim‘s mum Kris in October – has had plastic surgery.

Kim, 33, told fans in a blog post in 2009 that the ex-decathlete had undergone a partial facelift and nose job in the 80s but it didn’t turn out as he hoped.

He was later seen having a further operation to correct the botched work on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

This time, Bruce says he visited a surgeon because a cancerous growth that was removed from his nose in September had left a large scar that wasn’t healing well.

While there, he decided to consult the doctor on chondrolaryngoplasty.
