The Duchess is being looked after

Kate Middleton is believed to have been on a drip in hospital last night after falling ill with acute morning sickness.

Prince William took the pregnant Duchess, 30, to London’s private King Edward VII hospital yesterday when she began vomiting at her parents’ house in Berkshire, where the couple had spent the weekend.

Kate will have needed extra fluids because her condition – also known as hyperemesis gravidarum – can cause dehydration for up to two months.

William, 30, was seen leaving the hospital just after 8pm and Kate‘s younger sister Pippa Middleton is expected to visit soon.

While Kate will need a lot of rest, her unborn baby won’t be in any danger.

It’s thought that Kate is only seven or eight weeks pregnant but she and William decided to tell the world their news early after she became sick.

William reportedly only informed the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince Harry minutes before making the announcement.
