Charles is overjoyed about Kate Middleton's pregnancy
Wills‘ dad spoke publicly about Kate‘s pregnancy yesterday for the first time since the couple announced that they’re to become parents earlier this week.
‘I’m thrilled – marvellous,’ said Charles, 64.
‘It’s a very nice thought to become a grandfather in my old age, if I can say so.’
Kate, 30, left London’s King Edward VII hospital yesterday after being treated for acute morning sickness and told crowds outside that she was ‘feeling much better’.
William, also 30, is believed to be making sure his wife is resting at Kensington Palace‘s Nottingham Cottage while she recovers from her illness.
‘She will need people to look after her, literally bring food to her – and quickly,’ Caitlin Dean of charity Pregnancy Sickness Support tells The Sun.
‘If she wants toast or an apple it needs to come straight away before another bout of nausea sets in. The emotional side is going to be really tough on her. It’s just so unrelenting.’
