Kate and Prince William have a shortlist of monikers

Kate Middleton revealed when her and Prince William‘s first child is due during a visit to a homeless shelter in Glasgow yesterday.

St James’s Palace announced last year that the royals were set to become parents in July but now Kate, 31, has pinpointed the exact time of month.

‘It’s around mid-July but apparently babies have their own agenda,’ said Kate.

Kate also told charity Quarriers‘ project manager Rachel Sawyer that she and William, 30, are stuggling to narrow down their choice of names.

The couple are finding it so tough to decide what their little girl or boy should be called that they’ve been asking friends to send them suggestions through text messages.

However, the Duke and Duchess still have a while to come up with the perfect moniker – Kate won’t be going on maternity leave from official duties until mid-June.

‘We have a shortlist for both [boys and girls’ names] but it’s very difficult,’ said Kate.
