Kate looked gorgeous at London's Ealing Studios
Pregnant Kate, 33, headed to London’s Ealing Studios this morning to visit the cast and crew on the set of the popular ITV period drama.
The Duchess looked glowing and gorgeous as she was greeted by creator Julian Fellowes and actors including Michelle Dockery, Jim Carter, Joanne Froggatt and Sophie McShera.
She displayed her blossoming bump in a £69 cream JoJo Maman Bébé tailored coat, which she paired with black courts and her trademark bouncy blow-dry.
After suffering from severe morning sickness in the early stages of her pregnancy, K-Middy was smiling ahead of the birth of her and husband Prince William‘s second child.
Other actors who met Kate were Kevin Doyle, Raquel Cassidy, Lesley Nicol, Hugh Bonneville, Penelope Wilton, Elizabeth McGovern, Brendan Coyle and Laura Carmichael.
The team – who are currently midway through shooting the show’s 6th series – showed Kate various parts of the production process, including hair, costume and props.
When she headed into the make-up department, Thomas Barrow’s alter ego Rob James Collier joked that his co-star Phyllis Logan was ‘about to have her Botox put in.’ Ha!
Kate also got to see a scene being filmed, went into both the boot room and the Dowager Countess’s house and was presented with a tasty-looking cake in the kitchen.
One of the sweetest moments was when four-year-old Zac Barker – who shares the role of Master George with his twin Oliver – gave Kate a gift for her one-year-old son.
Well, considering Kate‘s toddler is also named George, it did made sense for him to be the one to hand it over!
It must have been a pretty exciting day for Kate. She and William, 32, are said to be fans of Downton and watch it at home.
Perhaps she’ll pop into Hampshire’s Highclere Castle next?! The stately home is used for the programme’s exterior shots and other interior filming.
