The Duchess of Cambridge visits London Gallery with Charles and Camilla

Kate Middleton chose a chic pleated Orla Kiely dress for a trip to Dulwich Picture Gallery in London yesterday to see work created by children from a youth charity.

The Duchess of Cambridge accompanied father-in-law Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

Kate, 30, wasn’t in the right outfit for housework but she and Charles grabbed a couple of irons to help transfer paintings onto paper.

‘It’s just like being back at home,’ she joked.

The trio were supporting Prince CharlesFoundation For Children And Arts, which aims to increase youngsters’ confidence and unlock their creativity through art.

Busy Kate had earlier joined the British Olympic team at Stratford’s Olympic Park, where she wore coral jeans, trainers and a hooded top to play hockey.

Though she was once Marlborough College‘s first team captain, she admitted she was a little out of practice.

‘I was really looking forward to coming here but now I am here and have discovered I have to play, I am not feeling so confident,’ said Kate.

‘I haven’t played since I stopped so I am really nervous now.’

But Wills‘ wife needn’t have worried, she went on to score a goal.
