The model sympathises with Kate Middleton's morning sickness

Katie Price doesn’t think people should have made a big deal about Kate Middleton appearing to let slip that she’s expecting a daughter.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 31, caused a stir in Grimsby on Tuesday when she was handed a teddy by a local and thanked her by saying: ‘I will take that for my d…’ before stopping herself.

‘Like royal Kate, I am suffering from morning sickness all day long so I know how hard it must be for her to get all done up, put on a grin and go about those royal duties,’ says Katie, 34.

‘All mums know that we make arrangements but they often have to be cancelled because when a wave of sickness comes we just want to pull on our tracksuits and curl up on the sofa.

Kate doesn’t have this luxury so let’s keep supporting her rather than making a big fuss when she seems to get a small thing wrong.’

Mum-of-three Katie announced that she’s pregnant with 25-year-old husband Kieran Hayler‘s baby last week – just three months after they began dating.

The model is ‘overjoyed’ to be expecting like Kate and Prince William, 30, because she’d gone through two rounds of IVF with previous partners.

‘As soon as the pressure was lifted and I met Kieran, it just happened and we couldn’t be happier,’ Katie writes in The Sun.

‘I’ve always known the sex of my babies in advance but this time it will be a surprise as I already have boys and a girl and it’s Kieran‘s first so he doesn’t want to know yet.’
