The model denies complaining about a traveller group to the council
Katie Price has rubbished reports that she’s been anti-social to travellers who’ve moved their caravans onto a road near her country mansion in West Sussex.
It had been claimed that Katie, 34, scared the group’s animals by whizzing through the area in her pink Range Rover and that they believed she’d complained about them to the council.
‘It was difficult to estimate her speed but it was fast. It seemed anti-social,’ traveller Ben van Dweller alleged in an interview with The People.
‘We’ve got two dogs here and horses use the path up the road. It’s lucky one didn’t step out.’
It seems Ben, 32, rather fancies Katie as he quipped he hoped she’d been ‘cruising for a
bit of rough’ – he’d love to meet her for a bacon sandwich.
But Katie has since hit back on Twitter, telling her fans that she has gypsy ancestry and hasn’t done anything to upset the families – who have now been served a court summons to move.
‘usually I would take rough with the smooth but this story is quite nasty. it suggests I have been anti social to travellers living nearby. Not true!’ Tweets Katie.
‘it suggests I complained about them. Not true. my family has traveller genes – an invented story!’
