After his marriage to Katy ends, Russell has Will's dad on his mind

Russell Brand believes in the importance of free speech and he’s performing at Amnesty International‘s Secret Policeman’s Ball.

This event will take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on
Sunday 4 March with the likes of Coldplay, Sarah Silverman, Chris O’Dowd, Noel Fielding, and Jack Whitehall joining Russell on stage.

‘It’s good there is freedom of speech,’ says Russell, 36. ‘This means I can say that I find Prince Charles sexually attractive and that the US presidential elections are a meaningless spectacle to distract us from the mercantile skullduggery of the cabals that control our planet and no one can do anything about it. Thanks Amnesty.’

After splitting with wife Katy Perry, Russell is planning to meet up with ex- girlfriend Kate Moss when he’s next in London.

But Kate’s hubby Jamie Hince, 43, needn’t worry – 38-year-old Kate has made it clear she’s just helping Russ, 36, find a new romance.

Kate’s asked Russell to come over to their house,’ says Now’s source.

She’s always known how to make him giggle.’

Russell and Kate had a brief fling in 2006 after they were introduced by their mutual friend Sadie Frost.

The Secret Policeman’s Ball will be broadcast on C4 a week after the event.
