George has now been allowed home

Kerry Katona‘s fiancé George Kay was detained under the Mental Health Act earlier this week after being found screaming outside their home.

George, 34, allegedly shouted: ‘Kerry, Kerry, they’re going to f*cking kill me,’ while running in between cars by his and Kerry‘s £2 million rented house.

He continued: ‘They are hitting me with the hammer. Why are you letting them do this? Kerry, Kerry, open the gate, please, love. Call me a f*cking ambulance.’

George reportedly also accused imaginary attackers of tying his shoe laces together and clenched his fists in a defensive pose.

The ex-rugby player – who has three-month-old daughter Dylan-Jorge with Kerry, 33 – grabbed his crotch and held a phone to his ear without dialling.

George’s meltdown is said to have begun shortly after 6pm on Wednesday and lasted for around an hour before a passer-by called the police.

Mum-of-five Kerry was seen briefly at her front door, where she was ‘crying and in bits’.

George was examined at Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital before being allowed home and police have confirmed that he wasn’t tested for substance abuse.

‘There are no plans for any further police action in this matter,’ a spokesperson for Thames Valley Police tells the Daily Star.

Kerry’s spokesman gave no comment to the newspaper.
