Neighbours suprised the couple's home is for sale

Kym Marsh and husband Jamie Lomas have shocked their neighbours by putting their ‘dream home’ on the market less than 18 months after buying it.

Coronation Street star Kym, 37, reportedly thinks the five-bedroom pad in Worsley, Greater Manchester is too big for her family.

The asking price for the property is £650,000 – thought to be the same or slightly lower than Kym and Jamie, 33, paid for it.

‘It is strange to be off so quickly. People who move into this road tend to stay for a long time because they like it so much,’ says a resident.

‘We thought the family were very much at home here. The first thing we knew about them going was when the for sale signs went up.’

The couple live in the house with their daughter Polly, two, while Kym‘s children from a previous relationship David and Emily are regularly spotted there.

Their move could be down to Jamie‘s new EastEnders role in London – just months after he returned from a long stint in LA.

‘The schedules at EastEnders are as intense as Coronation Street so it will often mean spending five days a week apart,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

‘But Kym is ignoring all of that and looking for a place to rent in London together.’
