The couple have been going through a 'tricky time' in their relationship

Kym Marsh and husband Jamie Lomas are ‘taking time out’ from their 10-month marriage after a series of furious rows.

The Manchester-based couple, who are parents to daughter Polly, 2, still grieve for their son Archie, who was stillborn in 2009.

They have been living away from each other for a week in a bid to save their relationship.

Jamie, 33, has a new role in EastEnders and is working at the BBC’s Elstree Studios.

‘It’s true, they are spending some time apart while they work through their problems,’ says a source.

‘They’ve not split up but have been going through a tricky time – arguments and various other things. They’ve always had a tempestuous relationship and have been through a hell of a lot.

‘There isn’t really one big issue at the heart of this, just the usual resentments and arguments which can build up in a marriage.’

Coronation Street actress Kym, 37, and Jamie, who went to LA earlier this year to try and make it in Hollywood, have put their ‘dream home’ on the market less than 18 months after moving into it.

‘They are utilising the fact that Jamie is filming in London to have a bit of space while they try to work through it,’ the insider tells The Sun.

‘The marriage is by no means over and they are hoping they can come through this. But one thing is certain, there is no one else involved.’
