The actor will fly to the Mediterranean with little Polly

Kym Marsh‘s husband Jamie Lomas is jetting off on holiday to ‘try to get his head together’ over the couple’s marriage problems.

Jamie, 33, will take his and Kym‘s daughter Polly, 2, to the Mediterranean with his mum and sister while they ‘take time out’ of their relationship.

Kym and Jamie are currently living away from each other and have put their £650,000 ‘dream’ Manchester home on the market.

Jamie recently landed a role in EastEnders and often films in London for up to five days a week.

Whenever he’s back up north, he currently sleeps away from the family house.

The pair – who wed in September 2012 – are hoping that spending some time apart will rescue their romance.

Coronation Street star Kym, who is also mum to David, 18,and Emily, 15, from her relationship with Dave Cunliffe, will stay in the UK while Jamie‘s away.

She and her husband of 10 months will discuss their issues when Jamie‘s back from his trip.

‘Hopefully it will give them a bit of time to get everything in perspective,’ the insider tells The Sun.

‘They want to stay together.’
