The Corrie star wouldn't chose the same life for Emily but would support her choice
It’s hard to believe that Coronation Street star Kym Marsh is mum to son David, 18, and daughter Emily, 15, as well as Jamie Lomas‘s little girl Polly, two.
Stunning Kym, 37, and Emily could be sisters and have a very strong mum and daughter bond.
‘Emily‘s always been a mummy’s girl,’ Kym tells us in our exclusive interview.
‘She loves her dad [Kym‘s ex Dave Cunliffe] and she’s really close to him but she’s always been mummy-mad.
‘Having said that, we do fight like cat and dog sometimes.
‘We’ve had some difficult times with Emily because I think you do with teenage girls.’
Kym was just 18 years old when she had her first baby and doesn’t want Emily to be a young mum.
‘I’d go mad!’ she admits.
‘With Polly, she’s seen what it’s like to deal with a baby and I think it’s put her off for life.
‘It’s the best contraceptive I could’ve given her! She wouldn’t be a young mum because she’s not silly.
‘I was very naïve at the time. I didn’t think it would happen to me but Emily‘s very headstrong.
‘If it did happen, I’d go mental but of course I’d help and support her as much as I could.
‘She’s got such a big future and we’ve talked about it so much – I want her to have the opportunities that perhaps I didn’t have because I was a young mum.’
