The singer knows the photo was 'stupid and irresponsible'
Liam Payne has apologised to One Direction fans after he was pictured teetering dangerously on a 360ft-high ledge.
The singer, 20, admits it was wrong for him to pose for the snap, which was posted on a friend’s Twitter page after he’d climbed onto the edge of the balcony at his 34th floor London flat.
‘You may have seen a photo of me today taken on top of a building. I regret being there and having a photo taken,’ Tweeted Liam.
‘It was a stupid and irresponsible thing to do. I am sorry, and do not endorse any fans trying to repeat this, as it is extremely dangerous.’
It’s thought that the image was taken at the weekend, when Liam had invited three friends from his home town of Wolverhampton to his pad in the capital.
Unfortunately for Liam, the boys had uploaded a number of shots from their trip online – including a night in club Funky Buddha – leading some Directioners to deduce where he lives.
‘I know my friends have tweeted a lot of pictures of my house the past few days but can people please stop coming and waiting outside,’ Tweeted Liam yesterday.
‘I’d just like to be able to walk outside as everyone does and enjoy time with my friends, not feel bad for not wanting to take a picture.
‘Sorry if I’ve been rude to anyone but I’ve come to realise if I take one picture more people keep coming everyday xxx hope everyone’s good.’
