The couple are getting hitched down south

Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have been very busy planning their nuptials.

The couple – who got engaged in September – are close to deciding where the bash will be held and Mark, 27, is already thinking about the wedding party.

‘It’s going well, we’ve got it down to two venues and it’ll definitely be down south,’ says Mark.

‘We’re nearly there. My best man will probably be my brother Josh – I wanted it to be my dad but everyone keeps telling me that’s wrong.’

Mark stepped out at the National Television Awards last night to support Coronation Street‘s Michelle, 26, who was up for the Serial Drama Performance gong.

He’d earlier Tweeted good luck to his wife-to-be and said he was ‘proud’ of her but she ended up losing out to co-star Julie Hesmondhalgh.

Despite Michelle‘s disappointment, Mark can’t wait to make her his wife – and is also looking forward to his final night of freedom.

‘I’m excited about my stag do, because I love partying, but I’ll probably end up ruined,’ Mark tells The Sun.

‘I think we’ll go to Vegas for it.’
