Miley Cyrus has ditched her trademark short barnet for a longer style.

The controversial singer, 20, unveiled a flowing brunette ‘do on Twitter last night before shocking fans with a chest-skimming lilac cut and blunt fringe.

But Miley hasn’t actually visited the hairdresser for extensions – she was just testing out a couple of hairpieces ahead of Halloween tomorrow.

Miley is clearly looking forward to celebrating the spooky holiday and told fans yesterday that she’d been carving pumpkins – but she didn’t create traditional designs.

Instead, Miley cut out explicit porn scenes and a cannabis leaf on her jack-o’-lanterns, alongside the number 4:20 in reference to ‘Weed Day’ on 20 April.
