Niall tells Mike his attitude is 'terrible'

Niall Horan got himself into a vicious Twitter row with rugby player Mike Phillips on Saturday.

The One Direction singer, 20, blasted Mike, 31, after the Welsh sportsman got into a dispute towards the end of his country’s Six Nations 26-3 defeat to Ireland.

Mullingar-born Niall was supporting the Irish side and wasn’t impressed with Mike‘s antics.

‘Mike Philips is like a child throwing his toys out of the pram! his attitude is terrible, looks like a right arrogant idiot,’ Tweeted Niall.

But Mike replied: ‘.@NiallOfficial come down to training in the week big boy. Bring the rest of The Beatles with you.’

Niall didn’t seem too fazed by Mike‘s jibe, writing: ‘@mikephillips009 cool story big fella! only go and watch good rugby teams anyway so no thanks ! #wanabeestevejones.’

The blond star also got support from Irish player Rob Kearney.

‘@mikephillips009 don’t worry @NiallOfficial – I’ve got your back!!’ said Rob, 27.

Luckily for the 1D lads, Mike seemed to have calmed down a little yesterday and sent a make-up message to Niall and Rob about Ireland’s success.

‘Where did it all go wrong ! Haha congrats on the win @NiallOfficial @KearneyRob,’ Tweeted Mike.
