The singer is thrilled for Mullingar-born Conor
Niall Horan was feeling very proud yesterday after it was announced that his pal Conor Gilsenan has been taken on by London Irish rugby club.
The One Direction singer, 20, told his Twitter followers how happy he is for Conor, 21, and that he can’t wait until the sportsman moves to London.
‘delighted for one of my best friends @ConorGilsenan who signed for @LiRFC !! Get over here quick Gil,’ Tweeted Niall.
Conor is described as a ‘back-rower with enormous intensity’ and is joining the union team from Ireland’s Leinster Rugby, where he plays in their academy squad.
He hails from Niall‘s hometown of Mullingar, County Westmeath and his teammates reckon he’ll have a great time in the Big Smoke.
‘London doesn’t know what will happen to it,’ Tweeted Leinster‘s Jamie Heaslip this morning.
Niall replied: ‘u know that too well.’
