Nigella reaches out to Fiona Shackleton

Nigella Lawson has reportedly consulted Sir Paul McCartney‘s lawyer Fiona Shackleton about her divorce proceedings from husband Charles Saatchi.

The TV cook, 53 – who’s Fiona‘s cousin – is said to have contacted the ‘doyenne of divorce’ after finding out that Charles, 70, had announced their split in a Sunday newspaper.

Nigella never wanted it to come to this – but Fiona has been a rock of support and she is glad to have her on side,’ a source tells The Sun.

Nigella is soft so she needs someone strong representing her – and they don’t come any tougher than Fiona. Charles must be quaking in his boots.’

Fiona, 57, represented Sir Paul, 71, during his legal battle with ex-wife Heather Mills.

Heather, 45, famously threw water over her head when the judge awarded her only £24.3 million of the £125 million she was seeking.

She was also hired by Prince Charles after his break-up with Princess Diana and Madonna following the end of her marriage to Guy Ritchie.

Nigella and Charles are worth £130 million – with the chef’s success contributing to a large portion of that – and own a £12 million home in Chelsea.
