Victoria will be a millionaire

Olympic cyclist Victoria Pendleton has retired from competitive cycling but she has a very busy future ahead.

Though she lost the women’s sprint final to Australian Anna Meares, the stunning sportswoman is predicted to rake in a massive £1 million a year for promoting fashion, make-up and lifestyle brands.

Victoria – who won a gold and silver medal at the London 2012 Games – has already created a range of bikes and has been chosen by Pantene to promote their hair care products.

‘Maybe I could
design more bikes, I really enjoyed doing the range with Halfords,’ she says.

‘For a cyclist, designing my own bikes has been a dream come true.’

The athlete, 31, is planning to marry her ex-Team GB sports scientist fiancé Scott Gardner next year and is also tipped to appear on the next series of Strictly Come Dancing, alongside British swimmer Rebecca Adlington and gymnast Beth Tweddle.
