The singer's son is growing up

Peter Andre isn’t ready for his son Junior to bring a girl home just yet.

The singer, 41, knows the nine-year-old will probably become interested in the opposite sex within the next few years and he isn’t quite sure how he’ll handle it.

‘When Junior turned nine in June, it dawned on me that he’s going to be a teenager soon,’ says Peter.

‘I don’t feel prepared for the girlfriends and dating situation!’

Luckily for Pete, he has quite a while until his and fiancée Emily MacDonagh‘s seven-month-old daughter Amelia gets into a relationship.

But he’s already thinking about where Junior and his younger sister Princess, 7 – whose mum is his ex-wife Katie Price – will be allowed to meet up with their sweethearts.

He hasn’t yet mustered up the courage to broach the subject with his children.

‘I don’t think I’d mind him taking a girl to the cinema, but when it comes to staying over at each other’s houses, there’ll be rules,’ says Peter.

‘I tell the kids it’s okay to have friends that are both boys and girls, but I haven’t gone further than that!’
