The pair dress smartly for a Cancer Research UK event
Peter Andre and his fiancée Emily MacDonagh scrubbed up VERY well for an important visit to 10 Downing Street yesterday.
The singer, 41, shared an Instagram snap of himself looking rather dapper in a white shirt and plum tie while en route to the Prime Minister’s residence in a car.
‘On my way to 10 Downing Street for Cancer Research Uk with Ems. I’ll keep you posted :)),’ wrote Pete alongside the snap.
Peter later uploaded a photo of himself and Emily, 25, outside the famous black door.
He’d popped on a blue jacket over his smart ensemble while medical student Emily stunned in a monochrome outfit and a statement gold necklace.
Emily’s poker-straight locks fell loosely to her hips as she cuddled up to her man.
‘It’s not everyday…. Fantastic eve. Can’t wait to tell you about it thurs,’ said Pete.
Cancer Research UK has been a charity very close to Peter’s heart since his elder brother Andrew lost his battle to kidney cancer in December 2012.
Aside from starting the Peter Andre Fund – which aims to help spread the word about detecting cancer early – he’s also supported the foundation’s Cancer Awareness Roadshow.
Last November, he launched a campaign named Pete’s Champions. This encourages people to fundraise in their own communities using any activity they choose.
The death of Andrew understandably hit Peter and his family hard, with the dad-of-three admitting last year that his loss was still ‘raw’.
But he’s credited medical student Emily with helping him through a difficult couple of years, calling her ‘amazing’ and ‘so supportive’.
So it made perfect sense for her to be by his side yesterday.
Peter’s now found happiness again with his and Emily’s one-year-old daughter Amelia and he proposed to the gorgeous brunette on New Year’s Eve 2013.
He’s also a very doting father to his and ex-wife Katie Price‘s children Junior, 9, and Princess, 7.
