Bad news! It could be three month's before Prince George's next Royal engagement - and that'll be his christening

Baby George melted our hearts with his little wave during his first public appearance on the steps of St Mary’s Hospital.

But it could be a long wait before we see him on another official outing – in fact, royal correspondent Robert Jobson reveals it won’t be until his christening in October.

‘It’ll be a private affair with close family and friends,’ he tells Now.

William and Kate‘s wedding was a grand public celebration, but the christening probably won’t be.

‘In keeping with tradition, it’ll be in the music room at Buckingham Palace and led by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

George will wear the gown Wills wore, a replica of the 1841 lace and satin garment used by Queen Victoria‘s children.’

Fans needn’t worry too much, though.

George will have his first official photo shoot next week and again at three months, expected to be taken by Kate and Wills‘ fave photographer Mario Testino.
